Vinciane Gillet est membre du barreau de Bruxelles depuis 1997, et a été membre du conseil de l’Ordre du barreau de Bruxelles (2017-2020) en charge notamment des questions numériques.
Convaincue que le tournant numérique constitue un des grands défis d’avenir du monde économique, elle a pris en décembre 2017 la présidence de l’Incubateur européen du barreau de Bruxelles. Celui-ci regroupe des professeurs de différentes universités, des scientifiques, des avocats et d’autres professionnels du droit et accompagne dans une perspective pluridisciplinaire de nombreux avocats à l’échelle locale, européenne et globale dans la transformation numérique.
Après avoir obtenu sa licence en droit à l’Université catholique de Louvain, Vinciane Gillet a continué à se former en droit européen auprès de l’Université de Gand. Elle est également diplômée en sciences politiques option relations internationales auprès de l’Université catholique de Louvain.
En 2002, elle quitte le cabinet d’affaires où elle pratiquait le droit fiscal pour fonder son propre cabinet Gillet-Lex à Bruxelles. Vinciane Gillet a un parcours de civiliste et est spécialisée en droit international de la famille et droit patrimonial de la famille.
Vinciane GILLET est également directrice adjointe de la communication de l’Union internationale des avocats (UIA), expert « Quality » pour Avocats.be auprès du CCBE et présidente de la Commission de droit international privé du Barreau de Bruxelles depuis 2019. Elle a été présidente de la Commission d’aide juridique de l’arrondissement judiciaire de Bruxelles d’octobre 2014 au 12/1/2021 qui a pour mission de garantir à chaque citoyen l’accès à la justice et membre de la commission des avocats en petites structures et de la commission des relations internationales du Barreau de Bruxelles.

- Engage with actors in the reuse sector and/or the social and solidarity economy in the management of the end-of-life of my equipment
- Use start-ups, associations and sustainable innovation projects to meet my needs for products and services, and participate in the structuring and improvement of these sustainable offers and services
- Plan the archiving and cleaning of data with its teams to reduce their environmental footprint
- Reduce the environmental impact of its services: weight of images, videos, plugins, by favouring simpler or less energy-consuming solutions
- Ensure diversity in the recruitment of IS teams (initial and continuing training, diversity of training, origins, disability status)
- Encourage gender diversity in the digital field at all levels
- Favour the use of local and European tools in order to encourage the consolidation of players who respect the sovereignty of European data

- Implementing data governance of your organisation and GDPR compliance or by following the principles of the GDPR in compliance with locally applicable data protection rules locally applicable data protection rules for other countries
