Opquast est une entreprise à mission dont la raison d’être est de rendre le web meilleur.
Nous créons des contenus pour améliorer les sites web, nous formons les professionnels du web et nous animons une communauté de professionnels qui veulent améliorer le Web.
Nos missions :
- Agir pour permettre au plus grand nombre d’accéder aux services web, quel que soit leur profil : âge, compétences, langues, aptitudes physiques ou mentales, culture, matériels utilisés et modalités de connexion.
- Améliorer les services web en simplifiant et en facilitant leur utilisation dans les sphères privées, publiques et professionnelles et leur développement en tant que vecteur de transformation sociale et environnementale des sociétés et des organisations.
- Aider les professionnels et organisations à développer leurs compétences et leur impact sur la qualité, l’accessibilité et la sobriété des sites Web et outils numériques.
- Former, fédérer, soutenir et développer un écosystème d’humains et d’organisations engagés dans l’amélioration du Web.
Ces missions sont portées par trois activités de terrain.
1. Nous créons une checklist de référence pour la qualité des sites
Les fondateurs d’Opquast sont des qualiticiens. Ils n’ont pas d’avis sur la qualité de vos sites. Ils ont juste besoin d’éléments objectifs. Et c’est pour ça que chez Opquast, nous listons des règles, nous les assemblons sous formes de checklists et nous les documentons pour en faire des référentiels.
2. Nous formons et certifions les professionnels du Web sur l'assurance qualité web
Le projet Web mobilise des professionnels de profils très divers : techniques, littéraires, marketing, commerciaux… Que partagent t-ils ? Avec quoi communiquent t-ils ? Quel est leur vocabulaire commun ? Au fil des années, Opquast a créé une boîte à outils comportant un modèle, une checklist de référence, un glossaire. Pour finir, Opquast a créé une certification permettant de vérifier que les professionnels du Web maîtrisent ces fondamentaux. Le pari d’Opquast : doter tous les professionnels du Web d’une culture de base, nécessaire et pas suffisante, dans le monde entier, pour tous les projets Web.
3. Nous animons et faisons vivre un écosystème de personnes et d’entités motivées pour améliorer le Web
Former à l’assurance qualité Web, c’est bien, mais appliquer les règles sur les sites Web, c’est encore mieux. Pour cela nous animons un écosystème regroupant des certifiés, des entreprises, des écoles, des centres de formation, des agences, des créateurs d’outils. Ils veulent rendre le Web meilleur, et nous sommes là pour les aider.

- Raise awareness on Sustainable IT (e.g. information workshop, MOOC, dissemination of good practice guides)
- Enter a Sustainable IT labelling initiative
- Certify your employees
- Establish a Sustainable IT Working Group within the organisation
- Evaluate the robustness of its infrastructures (regular tests) and prioritise European infrastructures
- Measure the lifespan of my equipment by type
- Encourage diversity among my service providers, particularly in relation to disability issues
- Use start-ups, associations and sustainable innovation projects to meet my needs for products and services, and participate in the structuring and improvement of these sustainable offers and services
- Plan the archiving and cleaning of data with its teams to reduce their environmental footprint
- Reduce the environmental impact of its services: weight of images, videos, plugins, by favouring simpler or less energy-consuming solutions
- Make its digital services accessible to as many people as possible (even in the event of poor connection quality, disability, etc.)
- Facilitate the proper semantic understanding of its digital services in a clear and educational language
- Encourage gender diversity in the digital field at all levels
- Promote work-life balance by, for example, respecting the right to disconnect and arranging for teleworking measures
- Making anonymised data available to enable the development of innovative services that can benefit users and citizens
- Develop in open source to enable virtuous emulation of its ecosystem
Actions started

- Implementing data governance of your organisation and GDPR compliance or by following the principles of the GDPR in compliance with locally applicable data protection rules locally applicable data protection rules for other countries

- Encourage diversity among my service providers, particularly in relation to disability issues

- Avoid unnecessary energy consumption e.g. by switching off at night, weekends and holidays
- Ensure the development of useful and efficient digital services
- Reduce the environmental impact of its services: weight of images, videos, plugins, by favouring simpler or less energy-consuming solutions
- Make its digital services accessible to as many people as possible (even in the event of poor connection quality, disability, etc.)
- Facilitate the proper semantic understanding of its digital services in a clear and educational language
- Ensure diversity in the recruitment of IS teams (initial and continuing training, diversity of training, origins, disability status)
- Encourage gender diversity in the digital field at all levels
- Promote work-life balance by, for example, respecting the right to disconnect and arranging for teleworking measures
- Making anonymised data available to enable the development of innovative services that can benefit users and citizens
- Favour the use of local and European tools in order to encourage the consolidation of players who respect the sovereignty of European data
- Develop in open source to enable virtuous emulation of its ecosystem
- Encouraging territorial innovations by testing and deploying social and environmental digital products and services
