Au travers de partenariats stratégiques avec des industriels ou des structures académiques de référence, Magellium présente une expertise reconnue dans les domaines technologiques suivants :
 L’ingénierie logicielle et des systèmes d’information géographiques,
 La géographie numérique (diffusion de données, outils pour la production de données cartographiques, mise en place d’infrastructures de données spatiales…),
 Les solutions pour la production de données géographiques,
 Le traitement du signal et de l’image.

L’intégration de Magellium au sein du groupe Artal courant 2016 a renforcé cette expertise. En effet l’alliance d’un expert en géo-information et en imagerie avec un spécialiste des systèmes logiciels industriels, donne ainsi naissance à une ETI dans le domaine du traitement de l’image, des données sensibles et de l’ingénierie système dans les secteurs de l’Aéronautique, la Défense, le Spatial, l’Energie et Environnement.
Magellium intègre et déploie des infrastructures de données géospatiales en y associant la spécificité et la complexité métier.
Dans l’ensemble de ces domaines, Magellium s’appuie sur un réseau de partenaires reconnus. Magellium est un membre actif des principaux organismes du domaine géomatique et participe aux travaux de la communauté Open Source (OSGéo) de l’Association Française de l’Information Géographique (AFIGEO), de l’Open GIS Consortium (OGC) et est également « partenaire Silver » de l’Esri Partner Network (EPN).
Les équipes de développement sont formées à l’ingénierie logicielle pour une production en mode projet associant la performance des solutions technologiques proposées et la maitrise des coûts :
 Gestion de projet (méthodes agiles, cycle en V),
 Chaine CI/CD, démarche DevOps, démarche DevSecOps,
 Support technique et maintenance en condition opérationnelle,
 Sélection et intégration des solutions tierces du marché les plus adaptées,
 Système de qualité ISO 9001.

Magellium intervient également sur des projets de mise en œuvre d’informatique industrielle et scientifique.

La stratégie de Magellium vise à développer avec ses clients une démarche partenariale durable, basée sur la confiance et sur le transfert de valeur ajoutée distinctive, au travers de la maîtrise des processus et du développement des compétences.

  • Establish a Sustainable IT Working Group within the organisation
  • Communicate to its stakeholders on the actions taken
  • Implementing data governance of your organisation and GDPR compliance or by following the principles of the GDPR in compliance with locally applicable data protection rules locally applicable data protection rules for other countries
  • Deployment of a security plan for its digital environments (antivirus, VPN, supplier audits, permanent monitoring)
  • Evaluate the robustness of its infrastructures (regular tests) and prioritise European infrastructures
  • Manage my fleet with an inventory by category
  • Measure the lifespan of my equipment by type
  • Favour the purchase of sustainable equipment (reparability and durability criteria)
