1. Présentation de Synox
Intégrateur agnostique et éditeur solutions IoT, Synox accompagne les entreprises et collectivités désireuses de mettre en place, facilement et en toute sécurité, des solutions IoT pérennes quels que soient les objets et la technologie utilisés
Capitalisant sur +15 années d'expérience, Synox affranchit ses clients de la complexité technique d’un projet IoT en couvrant l’intégralité de la chaine de valeur : de la captation de la donnée, jusqu’à sa restitution sur des interfaces intuitives, en passant par le stockage.
Notre mission est de permettre aux entreprises et collectivités, de transformer leurs activités en tirant parti du potentiel des nouvelles technologies de l’IoT, dans une logique de développement durable.
2. Historique de Synox
Créé en 2005, Synox a développé au fil des années une forte expertise dans les métiers de l’IT, le développement de plateformes web et mobiles et le machine to machine (M2M).
En 2009, Synox lance sa première plateforme de gestion des objets connectés qui se développe d’abord sur le marché de la téléassistance. Avec cette plateforme, Synox apporte aux télé-assisteurs et sociétés de services à la personne, un service de connectivité par carte SIM sans engagement. Ils bénéficient ainsi d’une offre unique de connectivité IoT à la demande.
Peu à peu, le développement du marché des objets connectés entraine avec lui de nombreux besoins : la gestion de l’objet lui-même (appelé aussi « device monitoring » ou « device management »), la gestion de la connectivité, la prise en compte des enjeux de sécurité et de protection de la donnée, le stockage des données recueillies et leur analyse, jusqu’à la restitution de ces données en informations intelligentes.
En 2015, Synox se positionne comme acteur à part entière de l’Internet des Objets en intégrant l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur.
Aujourd’hui, Synox gère plus de 80 000 objets, intègre plus de 650 modèles différents de capteurs pour plus de 600 clients.

4. Nos engagements RSE et vers un Numérique Responsable
Synox participe à un numérique plus responsable en s’engageant dans des actions concrètes et a pour ambition de s’engager dans la labélisation « Numérique Responsable » dans l’année à venir.

- Measure the energy consumption and impact of my Information System (multi-criteria analysis)
- Avoid unnecessary energy consumption e.g. by switching off at night, weekends and holidays
- Favouring low-impact energy sources
- Plan the archiving and cleaning of data with its teams to reduce their environmental footprint
- Measure the impact of its digital services (e.g. frequency of use or energy consumption) using a multi-criteria and global approach to the entire service (equipment, servers, networks, etc.)
- Ensure the development of useful and efficient digital services
- Reduce the environmental impact of its services: weight of images, videos, plugins, by favouring simpler or less energy-consuming solutions
- Facilitate the proper semantic understanding of its digital services in a clear and educational language
