La réduction de l’empreinte carbone mondiale est un processus continu. Travailler avec des énergies renouvelables et optimiser le PUE, le WUE et le GUE font partie d’une stratégie ambitieuse en matière d’énergie verte. L’alignement sur les initiatives européennes Green Deal et les directives de l’entreprise en constituent la base.
- Chaîne d’approvisionnement
L’achat responsable et l’atténuation des risques environnementaux, commerciaux et sociaux sont notre priorité absolue. L’adoption d’une attitude équitable et le maintien de relations commerciales transparentes sont hautement appréciés.
- Capital humain
Au sein de Datacenter United, la responsabilité sociale est notre seconde nature. L’égalité, la neutralité et les droits de l’homme en général font partie intégrante de l’ADN de notre entreprise. - Environment
Reducing the global carbon footprint is a continuous process. Working with renewables and optimizing the PUE, WUE & GUE, are part of an ambitous green energy strategy. Alignment with the European Green Deal initiatives and directives of the business form the basis.
-Supply chain
Responsible purchasing and mitigating environmental, business and social risks is our top focus. Adopting a fair attitude and maintaining transparant business relations are highly valued.
-Human capital
Within Datacenter United social responsibility is our 2nd nature. Focussing on equality, neutrality and human rights in general are fully embedded into our company DNA. Offering the possibility to follow training courses and offering a 24/7 healthy environment helps to drive motivation and employee satisfcation.

  • Raise awareness on Sustainable IT (e.g. information workshop, MOOC, dissemination of good practice guides)
  • Enter a Sustainable IT labelling initiative

  • Deployment of a security plan for its digital environments (antivirus, VPN, supplier audits, permanent monitoring)
  • Evaluate the robustness of its infrastructures (regular tests) and prioritise European infrastructures
  • Favour the purchase of sustainable equipment (reparability and durability criteria)
  • Engage with actors in the reuse sector and/or the social and solidarity economy in the management of the end-of-life of my equipment
  • Measure the energy consumption and impact of my Information System (multi-criteria analysis)
  • Avoid unnecessary energy consumption e.g. by switching off at night, weekends and holidays
  • Favouring low-impact energy sources
  • Make its digital services accessible to as many people as possible (even in the event of poor connection quality, disability, etc.)
  • Ensure diversity in the recruitment of IS teams (initial and continuing training, diversity of training, origins, disability status)
  • Encourage gender diversity in the digital field at all levels
  • Promote work-life balance by, for example, respecting the right to disconnect and arranging for teleworking measures
  • Making anonymised data available to enable the development of innovative services that can benefit users and citizens
  • Favour the use of local and European tools in order to encourage the consolidation of players who respect the sovereignty of European data
