Créé en 1961 sur un ancien site d’extraction de falun, le Bioparc de Doué-la-Fontaine est un parc zoologique hors-normes. Au fil des 60 dernières années, la roche sédimentaire est devenue l’écrin naturel des 17 hectares du parc, offrant une expérience de visite exceptionnelle et unique au monde ! Symbole de l’évolution des zoos vers des aires de conservation du vivant respectueuse du bien-être animal, le Bioparc est régulièrement cité en exemple pour ses aménagements innovants, sa philosophie nature, son engagement sur le terrain pour la préservation des espèces.
Le Bioparc accueille plus de 1600 animaux. Parmi les 130 espèces représentées, 30% sont classées en danger par l’UICN : une volonté assumée du parc qui considère ces animaux comme les représentants de leurs congénères sauvages et tente d’alerter et de sensibiliser aux dangers qui menacent ces espèces et la disparition de leur milieu naturel.

- Favouring low-impact energy sources
- Ensure the development of useful and efficient digital services
- Reduce the environmental impact of its services: weight of images, videos, plugins, by favouring simpler or less energy-consuming solutions
- Favour the use of local and European tools in order to encourage the consolidation of players who respect the sovereignty of European data
- Develop in open source to enable virtuous emulation of its ecosystem
