Avec la conscience qu’un changement radical dans nos attitudes de consommation s’impose, United Solutions s’engage à mettre la transformation digitale au service de la transition écologique.
Au sein de chacune de nos branches techniques (Étude & Développements, Infrastructure, Sécurité) nos experts IT se donnent pour objectif d’apporter leur savoir-faire technique tout en visant à réduire notre empreinte carbone collective. Rejoindre United Solutions, c’est partager une vision et co-construire un projet collectif fort et engageant : nous unir pour concilier progrès technique et urgence climatique.
United Solutions a souhaité dès sa création faire partie des acteurs qui intègrent aux DSI un critère d’écoresponsabilité dans leurs choix techniques. Le budget, la fiabilité, la sécurité sont des critères essentiels mais nous sommes conscients que l’industrie numérique pollue à ce jour autant que l’industrie de l’aviation civile. C’est pourquoi notre offre de services Green IT va plus loin : nous proposons à nos clients d’auditer leur pollution numérique actuelle, et de leur proposer des solutions pour raisonner leur consommation électrique.
Notre volonté : que chacun soit acteur de ce projet. Ainsi, chaque salarié choisit de participer à un projet écoresponsable – à travers le financement d’une startup ou d’un engagement associatif – en reversant une partie du chiffre d’affaire généré par sa mission. Nous aspirons à un modèle de croissance vertueux : plus nous serons nombreux, plus nous arriverons à faire éclore des projets embryonnaires de protection des océans, de reforestation, ou encore d’agriculture raisonnée. En cela nous croyons fermement aux objectifs de croissance verte fixés par l’ONU.

- Raise awareness on Sustainable IT (e.g. information workshop, MOOC, dissemination of good practice guides)
- Communicate to its stakeholders on the actions taken
- Favour the purchase of sustainable equipment (reparability and durability criteria)
- Engage with actors in the reuse sector and/or the social and solidarity economy in the management of the end-of-life of my equipment
- Measure the energy consumption and impact of my Information System (multi-criteria analysis)
- Avoid unnecessary energy consumption e.g. by switching off at night, weekends and holidays
- Favouring low-impact energy sources
- Plan the archiving and cleaning of data with its teams to reduce their environmental footprint
- Measure the impact of its digital services (e.g. frequency of use or energy consumption) using a multi-criteria and global approach to the entire service (equipment, servers, networks, etc.)
- Ensure the development of useful and efficient digital services
- Ensure diversity in the recruitment of IS teams (initial and continuing training, diversity of training, origins, disability status)
- Encourage gender diversity in the digital field at all levels
- Promote work-life balance by, for example, respecting the right to disconnect and arranging for teleworking measures
