Grâce à son maillage fort sur le territoire, le groupe CGR (Circuit Georges Raymond) est positionné comme le 2ème exploitant cinématographique français, aussi bien en nombre d’entrées (21 millions d'entrées par an) que d’établissements (73 cinémas). La pluralité de sa typologie de cinémas couvre à la fois la petite, la moyenne et la grande exploitation : allant d’un positionnement populaire en périphérie d’agglomération jusqu’au public Art et Essai de centre-ville. Avec 19 cinémas classés Art et Essai, proposant une programmation pointue, ainsi que 6 établissements classés Europa Cinéma, CGR se place comme le 1er groupe Art & Essai de France.

Horloger de métier, Georges Raymond était aussi un amoureux du cinéma. Après la création de sa société de publicité, c’est le rachat d’un premier complexe en centre-ville de La Rochelle qui lui permettra d’écrire le début de la fabuleuse épopée du groupe.

Désormais porté par ses fils Jean-Luc et Charles RAYMOND, le Groupe CGR Cinémas a su se démarquer, par son audace et sa volonté permanente d’innovation. Il s’est hissé depuis plusieurs décennies au sommet de l’industrie cinématographique française pour en devenir l’un des plus grands exploitants, avec 73 cinémas à ce jour.

Toujours à l’écoute de projets passionnants, la famille Raymond développe également son activité d’hôtellerie et restauration, notamment avec des franchises Accor, Louvre Hôtels et Burger King. Pour s’imposer comme un acteur incontournable des lieux propices au partage.

Actions started
