SYD accompagne ses clients dans la transformation numérique depuis 1999. Dans cette optique, l'entreprise propose des services de conseil pour la gestion de projets informatiques et les infrastructures informatiques. Le groupe offre également des services de conception de solutions numériques et de projets data sur mesure, ainsi que l'intégration d'ERP et de CRM conçus par Microsoft, ou encore l'intégration de solutions de gestion de la relation client. En outre, le groupe est éditeur de la solution d'assistance visuelle Speakylink.
Récemment, SYD a ajouté une offre en numérique responsable, proposant un accompagnement pour évaluer et réduire les impacts environnementaux des systèmes d'information, construire une feuille de route numérique responsable et mener des projets de conception responsable. Une autre offre est en cours de développement pour intégrer la gestion et le suivi d'une démarche RSE à son ERP. L'objectif est de proposer un solution numérique au service de la transition durable des organisations, en mettant l'accent sur la sobriété et l'inclusion.
Au-delà de ses activités, le groupe SYD repose sur des valeurs fondamentales : la solidarité, le respect et l'intégrité. SYD s'efforce d'incarner ces trois valeurs dans sa manière de mener ses activités et dans ses relations avec ses différentes parties prenantes. C'est notamment sur ces valeurs que repose sa démarche RSE. Le groupe SYD a d'ailleurs obtenu le label Engagé RSE pour l'ISO 26000. Mais comment parler de RSE sans aborder le numérique responsable quand on est une ESN ?
Depuis juin 2024, le groupe a effectué son premier audit de maturité en numérique responsable et a ensuite établi sa feuille de route NR. Le groupe s'est non seulement engagé à mettre en place des bonnes pratiques en matière de NR dans son fonctionnement interne, mais il s'engage également à les promouvoir et à les mettre en œuvre auprès de ses clients. De nombreuses actions ont été mises en place et sont en cours de réalisation pour assurer une approche proactive intégrant les enjeux environnementaux, sociaux et éthiques dans la conception et l'utilisation des technologies.
Planned commitments and actions
- Training in Sustainable IT (e.g. attending a training course lasting several days)
- Measure the energy consumption and impact of my Information System (multi-criteria analysis)
- Avoid unnecessary energy consumption e.g. by switching off at night, weekends and holidays
- Plan the archiving and cleaning of data with its teams to reduce their environmental footprint
- Reduce the environmental impact of its services: weight of images, videos, plugins, by favouring simpler or less energy-consuming solutions
- Make its digital services accessible to as many people as possible (even in the event of poor connection quality, disability, etc.)
- Facilitate the proper semantic understanding of its digital services in a clear and educational language
- Encourage gender diversity in the digital field at all levels

- Organise a Digital Cleanup Day
- Establish a Sustainable IT Working Group within the organisation

- Measure the impact of its digital services (e.g. frequency of use or energy consumption) using a multi-criteria and global approach to the entire service (equipment, servers, networks, etc.)

- Ensure diversity in the recruitment of IS teams (initial and continuing training, diversity of training, origins, disability status)
- Promote work-life balance by, for example, respecting the right to disconnect and arranging for teleworking measures
