Popchef est une foodtech française engagée dans la transition alimentaire durable. Fondée avec la mission de rendre accessible à tous une alimentation saine, gourmande et responsable, notre entreprise propose une alternative innovante à la restauration collective traditionnelle grâce à des frigos connectés.
Notre engagement RSE :
Dès notre création, nous avons intégré une approche responsable au cœur de notre modèle d’affaires. Nous œuvrons chaque jour pour réduire notre empreinte carbone, en adoptant des pratiques respectueuses de l’environnement et de la société :
- Alimentation durable : 100% de nos recettes sont de saison, 30% sont végétariennes, et nous privilégions des matières premières locales et labellisées.
- Réduction du gaspillage alimentaire : Grâce à la technologie de nos frigos connectés, nous optimisons la gestion des stocks et limitons les pertes alimentaires. Nos invendus sont redistribués à des associations caritatives.
- Soutien à l'économie locale : Nous collaborons avec des artisans et traiteurs français, en favorisant des circuits courts et un approvisionnement responsable.
- Égalité et emploi durable : Nos équipes sont composées de 52% de femmes, et nous favorisons l’insertion professionnelle dans des zones à faible employabilité.
Un numérique au service de l’impact positif :
En tant qu’entreprise technologique, nous avons pleinement conscience de l'empreinte environnementale du numérique. Notre ambition est de faire du numérique un levier de transformation positive, en alignant nos pratiques digitales avec nos engagements RSE :
- Optimisation énergétique de nos infrastructures IT
- Réduction de l'empreinte carbone de nos outils numériques
- Sensibilisation de nos collaborateurs aux bonnes pratiques du numérique responsable
- Utilisation de la data pour réduire le gaspillage alimentaire et améliorer notre impact environnemental
En signant la Charte du Numérique Responsable, nous souhaitons renforcer notre engagement et collaborer avec d’autres acteurs pour construire un avenir numérique plus éthique, durable et inclusif.
Popchef serait fier de rejoindre cette démarche collective et de contribuer à un numérique plus responsable.
Planned commitments and actions
- Raise awareness on Sustainable IT (e.g. information workshop, MOOC, dissemination of good practice guides)
- Enter a Sustainable IT labelling initiative
- Establish a Sustainable IT Working Group within the organisation
- Deployment of a security plan for its digital environments (antivirus, VPN, supplier audits, permanent monitoring)
- Evaluate the robustness of its infrastructures (regular tests) and prioritise European infrastructures
- Manage my fleet with an inventory by category
- Favour the purchase of sustainable equipment (reparability and durability criteria)
- Ensuring that its suppliers and service providers comply with their GDPR requirements or follow the principles of the GDPR in compliance with locally applicable data protection rules for other countries, environmental, social and diversity
- Use start-ups, associations and sustainable innovation projects to meet my needs for products and services, and participate in the structuring and improvement of these sustainable offers and services
- Measure the energy consumption and impact of my Information System (multi-criteria analysis)
- Favouring low-impact energy sources
- Plan the archiving and cleaning of data with its teams to reduce their environmental footprint
- Measure the impact of its digital services (e.g. frequency of use or energy consumption) using a multi-criteria and global approach to the entire service (equipment, servers, networks, etc.)
- Ensure the development of useful and efficient digital services
- Reduce the environmental impact of its services: weight of images, videos, plugins, by favouring simpler or less energy-consuming solutions
- Make its digital services accessible to as many people as possible (even in the event of poor connection quality, disability, etc.)
- Ensure diversity in the recruitment of IS teams (initial and continuing training, diversity of training, origins, disability status)
- Encourage gender diversity in the digital field at all levels
- Promote work-life balance by, for example, respecting the right to disconnect and arranging for teleworking measures
- Favour the use of local and European tools in order to encourage the consolidation of players who respect the sovereignty of European data
- Participate in or encourage the co-construction/experimentation of Tech4Good
