THE CHARTER
With the advent of generative AI, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming more widespread and playing an increasingly important role in transforming organizations and, more broadly, society. It offers significant new opportunities for value creation but also presents notable impacts and risks, particularly in social and environmental terms.
By signing this charter, and in accordance with applicable regulations (including the AI Act), we commit to implementing and/or using sustainable Artificial Intelligence systems that are human-centered and human-controlled, trustworthy, inclusive, non-discriminatory, and environmentally responsible.
1. AI SERING HUMANS PEOPLE
We are committed to putting AI at the service of people in the workplace environment.
- Developing AI that reinforces the central role of employees while enhancing their capabilities
- Ensuring that AI is co-created with employees through social dialogue, use case development, and feedback
- Raising awareness and providing training on the proper use of AI and its impacts
- Respecting autonomy, the quality of social interactions, and the meaning of work
- Including in procurement specifications compliance with international treaties that ensure AI-related activities respect human rights, democracy, and the rule of law
2. INCLUSIVE AND ETHICAL AI
We are committed to developing inclusive and ethical AI.
- Respecting equity, diversity, and non-discrimination, with mechanisms to ensure the quality and representativeness of data to avoid any form of bias (gender, ethnic, religious, etc.)
- Organizing processes to address all forms of discrimination that could result from biased data
- Making AI-related digital services understandable and accessible to people with situation of disabilities
3. TRUSTWORTHY AI
We are committed to building trustworthy AI.
- Providing users with transparent information about their interactions with AI systems and the data sources used
- Explaining how AI algorithms work in a clear and accessible way, including the principles, sources, data used, and factors influencing the final results
- Ensuring human oversight is in place for all high-risk activities
- Strengthening the robustness of AI systems against cyberattacks
4. ECO-RESPONSIBLE AI
We are committed to adopting eco-responsible AI.
- Ensuring the appropriate selection and application of use cases
- Adopting frugal AI models with efficient resource usage
- Estimating and minimizing the environmental footprint of AI systems throughout their lifecycle
- By implementing eco-friendly practices for training and using frugal AI
